The Chronic Pain Research Alliance produced its second white paper, Impact of Chronic Overlapping Pain Conditions on Public Health and the Urgent Need for Safe and Effective Treatment, to promote awareness and research of a cluster of prevalent pain conditions that frequently co-occur. These conditions come at a high cost; misdiagnosis, lack of coordinated medical care, and sparse safe and effective treatments. This report, which can be viewed and downloaded, includes detailed policy recommendations for advancing research.
